Majors advised by the AAC

Congratulations on selecting the University of Texas at El Paso! Furthering your education is a very important part of your life. As you begin this phase of your academic career you may be faced with many challenges, doubts, and questions about attending college for the first time. The Academic Advising Center staff is here to help you have a successful first year. In fact, your academic advisor is one of the most important individuals you will meet at UTEP.

An academic advisor becomes your guide to your first year of university life and will explain course selection, program requirements and refer you to campus resources available to you. Within this website you will find links, tools and information that can help you on your path to success at UTEP. Check out the links for detailed information about how we can help you. If you do not see your major listed refer to the Academic Programs link. We encourage you to take a few moments to view and read the information or come in to speak with an advisor. The Academic Advising Center staff welcomes you to UTEP.
