The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) at the University of Texas at El Paso connects faculty and their courses to engage students in community-based teaching and learning in an effort to deepen education, promote civic engagement, and actively improve the El Paso area.

Since 1998, the CCE has been home to numerous students who have been the engine and  heart of it's function. We have impacted the community by-

• Engaging over 13,000 university students
• Partnering with over 420 community organizations, public agencies & schools
• Engaging over 260 professors from all colleges
• Reaching over 66,000 community members and children
• Investing over 319,000 hours of service
