WELCOME TO THE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION

UNDERGRADUATE ADVISING WEB SITE 

The  Advising, Recruitment, and Career (ARC) Center is open from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm on Mondays and 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Tuesday - Friday. The ARC Center is located in the College of Education building, room 412. Advisors are available, on a walk-in basis, to meet with education students who have completed 46+ credit hours.

Pre-Education majors with 0 – 45 hours will meet with an advisor in the Academic Advising Center on Hawthorne Street. Contact an advisor in the AAC by calling 915-747-5290 or visiting their website.

Students who plan to become teachers are admitted into the College of Education as pre-education majors. All students are classified as "pre-education" until they have formally applied and have been accepted into the Teacher Education Program
