Welcome to The University of Texas at El Paso! The Office of New Student Orientation is delighted that you have chosen UTEP to continue your education.
New Student Orientation at UTEP is your first opportunity to get acquainted with our campus and begin making connections with fellow UTEP students, faculty and staff. Orientation will also allow you the chance to meet with your academic advisor and begin laying the groundwork for your eventual college graduation.
During your orientation session you will learn about everything from degree requirements to getting involved on campus with the numerous registered student organizations and clubs. In addition, you will learn to navigate around our Beautiful Bhutanese Architectural Campus and find key offices and resources that will benefit you during your academic experience here at UTEP.
Orientation sessions are offered during the months of May – August and November – January for incoming freshmen and transfer students. Programs are uniquely designed to address the
specific needs of your entering demographic. College representatives for each academic major are also present to help answer any questions you may have regarding your career choice.
