Mission Statement |
The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences seeks to hire and maintain a well qualified faculty and staff dedicated to preparing a culturally diverse population in the El Paso border region for professional careers as health practitioners.
Both the University and College mission statements refer to the diverse population of El Paso and the surrounding region and the need for the faculty, staff, and administrators of the University to provide the students of the region with the opportunity for a general education as well as professional careers. Although the Department’s mission focuses on the disciplines of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology it relates to the University and College missions.
