Symphony Band | With a goal of being one of the finest ensembles of its kind, The University of Texas at El Paso Symphony Band is comprised of instrumentalists inside and outside of the Department of Music. Under the artistic and musical direction of Professor T. André Feagin, the ensemble strives to deliver engaging performances that are both expressive and polished. The UTEP Symphony Band presents its audience with a wide variety of repertoire including orchestral transcriptions, contemporary music, and works from the standard wind band repertoire. The ensemble meets both during the fall and spring semesters and performs six concerts each academic year. Placement auditions take place at the beginning of the fall semester. |
