The Reference Desk and the Reference Area are located on the second floor of the UTEP Library.  Library Assistants and Librarians are available to help patrons find information by using the online catalog, databases, as well as electronic and print resources. The reference materials include: periodical indexes, encyclopedias, dictionaries, literary criticisms and other reference works.  The Reference Department also provides Library Instruction sessions to undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines.
