The Special Collection is located on the sixth floor of the UTEP Library.  This collection includes the Chicano Collection, the J. Carl Hertzog Collection, the Judaica Collection, the S.L.A. Marshall Military Collection, the Southwest and Border Studies Collection, as well as art and rare books.  In addition to printed sources, it contains extensive manuscript and archival collections.  There is also an oral history collection documenting regional sources.
