The CLC (Collaborative Learning Center), formerly the LTC, is located on the second floor of the University Library. Over 200 computers, both PC and Macintosh, and wireless laptop computers are available for students to check-out. A variety of software applications, including word processing, statistical software package, as well as Internet access are available too. Access to a digital satellite system that feeds into the university's CCTV - Closed Circuit TV are available for academic and instructional purposes only. CLC staff also provide access to: close-circuit transmission of videotapes and satellite conferences to classrooms across campus, the University e-mail system, and laser printing (B/W, Color, Transparencies, etc). The CLC follows the UT System Software Guidelines. To provide a safer working environment five surveillance cameras are on duty 24 hours a day.
