The Department offers a comprehensive program in the visual arts. We award two undergraduate degrees, the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and the Bachelor of Arts (BA), and one graduate degree, the Master of Arts. Students pursuing an art career may choose to major in any of the following areas: art education, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, metals, painting, printmaking and sculpture. Non-art majors can minor in any of the above areas plus art history. A minor in Art History is currently offered for the BA in Art. Art History minors for the BFA can be considered with the Department Chair's approval. A BA with Art History major will be offered beginning in Fall 2010.
