Our Services The UTEP Student Health Center provides confidential heath services to all students presenting a valid UTEP ID Card. The Student Health Fee, paid each semester, covers these general services. There is a reduced fee for laboratory services, immunizations, prescriptions, and over-the-counter medications. We do not bill insurance companies (to include medicare/medicaid). However, we will provide a letter for your insurance company upon request.
The Student Health Center is staffed by a team of qualified health professionals who are able to provide each student with quality, on campus medical attention. Our team of professionals is prepared to care for acute and chronic illnesses, minor injuries, preventive health services, physical exam and immunizations. When the level of care is beyond our resources, we are able to make the appropriate referrals to a network of medical resources. We do NOT provide emergency care.
