Bruce Lawson, Coordinator of the Religious Studies Program


Associate Professor of English.  M.A. from San Diego State University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in English from the University of Southern California, with additional graduate work in Biblical Studies.  He teaches two courses in the English Department that are regularly cross-listed with Religious Studies: Literature of the Bible and Milton.


 


Ken Ducre


Earned an S.T.L. and an S.T.B. in Theology at the Pontificia Universita Gregoriana (Rome), and his B.A. at the College of Santa Fe with a major in Religious Studies.  He teaches Indroduction to Religious Studies, Hispanic Religious Expressions, and Life and Teaching of Jesus.


 


Barbara Kotowski


Earned an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Texas at El Paso and her B.A. at University of Arizona, with additional work in Buddhism and Middle Eastern Studies.  She teaches Major World Religion and Buddhism.


 


Stephen Leon


Received his Religious Education degree at Jewish Theological Seminary of America, his B.A. at Columbia University, and his ordination as Rabbi and Teacher from the Academy for Jewish Religion in New York.  He teaches Understanding Judaism and the Holocaust.


 


Phillip Webb


Earned a Master of Divinity at the Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia and a Doctor of Ministry at the Graduate Theological Seminary of Notre Dame, Indiana.  He teaches Introduction to Religious Studies.
