The Center for Science, Technology, Ethics and Policy at UTEP is assoicated with the Department of Philosophy. Through that research center, students in philosophy and other academic disciplines have the opportunity to engage in various programs, classes, workshops and service projects that involve exploring and testing ethical issues in the fields of engineering and the sciences. The three project lines of CSTEP are: cyberethics, bioethics, and sustainability practices.
