ISS provides many avenues of support for faculty, staff and students at UTEP to support our mission of serving as a model of excellence in providing integrated support for pedagogically and technologically effective university teaching.

ISS educational technology staff located in the Undergraduate Learning Center (UGLC) provide UTEP faculty and instructors with continual assistance and maintenance of the advanced technologies available through the UGLC, as well as through a customized series of workshops and trainings developed to increase basic skills and understanding of the technological components housed within the UGLC. ISS educational technology support staff also plays a key role in the New Faculty Laptop program.

The International Professional Certification Institute (iPCI) offers technical certification courses for UTEP students, faculty, staff and for community members to prepare them for opportunities in the information economy.
