I. COMMUNICATION SKILLS: 0-3 hrs   0-3
ESOL 2303 (for those students following    
sequence "3" for block I in the University    
Core Curriculum.)    
     
II. LANGUAGE (Sophomore level)   6
1. *2301 & 2302 (non-native) or    
2. *2303 & 2304 (native) or    
3. LING 2303 & 2304 (Intensive Language)    
(Pre-requisites: completion of 1301 & 1302 in
the language, or placement by examination)
     
Block Electives: [18 upper-division hours
(3300-4300) distributed among 3 blocks]
Instructions:    
* At least 3 hours must be taken in each block.  
* No more than 9 of 18 required hours may be  
taken in any one block.  
* Courses from the major, minor, and University  
Core requirements MAY NOT be counted.
