Borderlands Resources

The El Paso and Ciudad Juarez region offers a wide array of academic resources for anyone intersted in the unique geographical location that is the U.S.-Mexico border. Nestled on the tip of three states--Texas, New Mexico, and Chihuahua, and two countries--The United States and Mexico, the El Paso-Ciudad Juarez region is teeming with history. The El Paso-Juarez metropolitan area, with a population of over two million, offers students and researchers a unique cultural and scholary experience. The UTEP campus is situated almost directly on the U.S.-Mexico border. Here, the border is not merely an intellectual challenge, it is an everyday experience.
