                          instruction for UNIV 1301 classes and the College of Health Sciences.

                         Duties included providing reference services to students, faculty, and community 
                         patrons.  Duties also include providing bibliographic instruction for classes 
                         utilizing power point presentaitons, creating pathfinders, and assisting full-time
                         librarians with duties as needed.

3/01-1/04          Public Services Librarian I, El Paso Public Library, El Paso, Texas
                        Duties included supervising the ILL department to include budget, supervision of
                        employees, and creating and implementing procedures and policy manuals. 
                        Provided reference services and collection development in the areas of art,

                        Duties included managing the daily operations of the environmental laboratory to 
                        include supervision of technicians and student workers.  utilized computer
                        controlled instrumentaiton to analyze water, soil, and plant samples (ICP, IC,  
                        AA). Generated reports and provided customer service to clients and vendors 
                        nationwide.

                        Laboratory Technician II (8/93-8/94)
                        El Paso City County Health and Environmental Laboratory, El Paso, Texas
                        Duties included the analysis of body fluids for laboratory tests to include CBC, 
                        Blood Typing, Syphilis, HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Pregnancy, Bacteriology, and 
                        Urinalysis.  Certified milk and water analyst.  As a technician, duties also 
                        included preparing laboratory media for the bacteriology department.

7/91-5/93          Laboratory Assistant, The Reference Laboratory, Albuquerque, NM
                        Duties included receiving, preparing, and processing laboratory speciments 
                        received from patients.  The last three months of this position were in the capacity
                        of a shift supervisor.  These duties included managing the work flow, 
                        troubleshooting, and monitoring quality assurance.
