The NSF ADVANCE grant was designed to further the recruitment, retention, and advancement of female faculty in NSF-related disciplines. Advancement includes promotion of females to full professorship and positions of University leadership. Included in the ADVANCE grant funding were monies to support Graduate Research Assistantships for qualifying faculty.
