The Shine program offers UTEP students the opportunity to assist community members in their efforts to either prepare for the United States citizenship test or to improve their English skills. For the UTEP students who assist with the English courses, the primary recipients are adult learners of all different ages. Community members benefit greatly from the individualized attention offered by UTEP students assisting in this program


Classes are held at a wide variety of times, from early morning to eventing, throughout  the week and the weekend.

Note: It is not required to have Spanish skills in order to participate at most sites.

Due to limited space, it will be first come first serve for site available at each training.
