Prospective Graduate Students

This page will tell you the status of your application. The list is in order of your UTEP 800 ID number. You can scroll down the page to your number, or you can type control-F to search the page for your ID number. You will see on a single line your ID number, the status of your application (P1, P2, P3, or P4), the date that status was achieved, the program code of the program you applied for, and the name of the program.

The status codes mean the following:

P1:	Application submitted, but some supporting materials still needed.
P2:	Application complete except for test scores (if they are required). In some cases, P2 applicants may register and enroll in courses.  International applicants cannot be classified as P2.
P3:	The application is complete and has been forwarded to program for review and recommendation.
P4:	The Graduate School has received a recommendation from the program. You should be informed of the admissions decision within one week. If you have not received an email notice within that time, you may wish to contact the Graduate School.

If your name was once on this list and is no longer on the list, this probably means that a final decision has been made regarding your application. If this is the case, please make sure the address you gave us is current. If it is not, please let us know.

This list does not include those who have been officially accepted or rejected, only those still in process.
