• FINANCIAL MODULE
This module is part of a set of learning objects
developed for Entering Student Programs at UTEP, designed to engage
students in various aspects of the first year experience. The
Financial Module specifically, is an interactive simulation designed to
help students make the connection between effective financial planning
and academic success.
• COURSEMINE
Coursemine is a simplified content management system
developed for use by faculty who primarily desire the distribution of
course materials online with a few interactions added via discussion
forums. This application provides faculty with an easy to use SACS
driven template for their syllabus and areas for uploading lecture
notes, assignments and viewing pictures of students on the class roster.
• NEW FACULTY ACADEMY
The New Faculty Academy provides an opportunity for full-time faculty members who are new to The University of Texas at El Paso to engage in a series of seminars, workshops and activities focused on teaching and learning and on setting goals for a successful career. This Academy is designed to enhance teaching impact, knowledge, and effectiveness, and to provide a venue for reflection on professional goals and provide opportunities for participants to engage in UTEP’s culture. The academy will be comprised of faculty from multiple disciplines which will give participants the opportunity to develop collegial relationships in the UTEP community.
