The New Faculty Academy provides an opportunity for full-time faculty members who are new to The University of Texas at El Paso to engage in a series of seminars, workshops and activities focused on teaching and learning and on setting goals for a successful career. This Academy is designed to enhance teaching impact, knowledge, and effectiveness, and to provide a venue for reflection on professional goals and provide opportunities for participants to engage in UTEP’s culture. The academy will be comprised of faculty from multiple disciplines which will give participants the opportunity to develop collegial relationships in the UTEP community.

Academy Deadlines

Fall Academy applications are due by August 31, 2006, but will be evaluated on a rolling basis before that date. All applicants will be notified by ISS via email no later than September 3, 2006.
