In addition to yearly reviews, UTEP NSF ADVANCE employs an evaluation process that includes both formative and summative self-assessments and review by an institutional Action Board and an external Advisory Board.
Goals of evaluation process:
- Design and implement the assessment of the grant
- Identify and implement appropriate evaluation models and methods
- Identify and evaluate existing UTEP data related to the grant
- Modify existing methods of data collection as needed or design new methods of data collection to facilitate program evaluation
- Prepare interim, year-end, and grant-end evaluation reports
- Prepare for peer-review publications
