For Updating McAffe AutoUpdate Repositories

1. Right-click on the McAffe icon in the system tray.
2. Select the “VirusScan Console…” option.
3. Once the VirusScan Console window opens, click on the “Tools” option from the window’s menu bar.
4. Select “Edit AutoUpdate Repository List…”
5. The Repositories tab should be populated with ONLY what is shown below. If other repositories exist besides those shown below, please highlight each repository that does not belong and click on the “Delete” button. * the most likely extra repositories will contain “UTEP” within the description field.

6. When done, simply click on the “OK” button, and close the console window.
7. It is HIGHLY recommended to right-click the McAffe icon in the system tray once more and select the “Update Now…” option to ensure that all virus definitions are up to date. (The update window will automatically close when the update process has completed.
