The University Writing Center provides writing assistance to all UTEP students, from freshman to graduate.

We can help you

• understand different types of writing, such as response papers, research reports, summaries, and arguments
• decide on the appropriate format for your writing
• brainstorm ideas and organize your thoughts
• find the right words to express yourself
• decide on the best way to revise your drafts
• learn how to correct grammatical errors
• document your sources

Located in Library 227, we offer free drop-in tutoring.  We welcome multilingual students.  Many of our tutors speak Spanish.
