| Book Loans |
The book loan is posted as credit on your Miner Gold Card with which you can then go to the University Bookstore and purchase your books and/or supplies. Book loans will be available starting December 16th. The loan is available if student has paid tuition. The maximum amount of the book loan is for $250. They will be offered as long as there is funding. The service charge on this loan is $10.00.
Who is eligible for a book loan?

Student must be registered.

Student must have made payment arrangements for tuition.

Student must present I.D./Student I.D.

Student must have all outstanding debts paid off or provide proof of a current satisfactory repayment agreement from the Office of Student Business Services.

Student must be cleared from all administrative holds.

Book Loans are subject to availability of funds.
You must be 18 or over to get a book loan. Any applicant under the age of 18 must contact the Office of Student Financial Aid (747-5055) for information.
If you have any outstanding balances, they must be cleared with Student Business Services (747-5105) before you apply for a book loan.
Read and follow all instructions carefully.
Print any pages you are prompted to print.
To verify that your Emergency Tuition Loan and Installment Plan Loan have been processed, check the Goldmine website (www.goldmine.utep.edu).
