The ESOL Program at UTEP helps students become active participants in the academic experience and university life by helping them improve their English skills.
Our students are mainly Spanish-speaking students from Mexico, although a few students from other countries are also enrolled in the program. Since its inception ESOL has grown rapidly. Today, approximately 900 students enroll in ESOL classes each semester.
