TExES testing schedule changes:
- There will be 4 test administrations for the TExES/ExCET program in 2009-10
- The first TExES/ExCET/TExMaT paper-based test administration will be on October 31, 2009
- TExMaT paper-based tests will be offered at 2 of the 4 TExES/ExCET administration dates (10/31/09, 4/17/10)
TOPT & TASC/TASC-ASL testing schedule changes:
- TOPT will continue to be offered at 3 administrations
- TASC/TASC-ASL will be offered at 2 administrations
* In September 2010 the Bilingual Target Language Proficieny Test (BTLPT) will replace the Texas
Oral Proficiency Test (TOPT) for certification in Bilingual Education - Spanish.
