• Define the components involved in teaching an online course at UTEP
• Identify available resources to assist you in teaching your online course
• Review important information and available articles on best practices and online student interaction
• Review the Learning Management System (LMS) tools you will be using to teach online

As you read through this orientation, you will find that teaching an online course will have an impact on your teaching style.
