Elluminate Live! is an online virtual classroom/conference room with multiple features including audio, video, instant messaging, interactive whiteboard, application sharing, file transfer, and session recording/playback with synchronized audio/chat/notes. There is a whole-group area as well as the capability for breakout rooms within the session. Participants may access sessions via login-restricted or open-access links, depending on session settings. This application supports accessibility compliance with the Support Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), section 508 of Rehabilitation Act, and the World Wide Web (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
Elluminate Plan! is used to create and package content and activities in advance for use in a real-time session in Elluminate Live! This tool requires software download and a registration key provided by an administrator. To request a registration key, contact the UTEP Technology Implementation Manager (TIM) for your college/department (list of TIMs).
Elluminate Publish! is used to create reusable learning content from recorded Elluminate Live! sessions. Session recordings can be published as audio podcasts or standalone recordings. This tool requires software download and a registration key provided by an administrator. To request a registration key, contact the UTEP Technology Implementation Manager (TIM) for your college/department (list of TIMs).
