The Department of Teacher Education seeks to graduate teachers who critically analyze educational practices in light of their benefit to learners in our diverse community; and to promote an understanding of global issues in education in an international context via our bicultural and bi-national focus.

| Educational Psychology and Special Services |
The Educational Psychology Department offers programs at the Master’s level in special education, educational diagnostics, and community/agency counseling and school counseling. The department also provides the content courses for the generic special education specialization in the Bachelor of Independent Studies (BIS) degree program and the special education component of the Alternative Teacher Certification Program.
