Dear Students, Alumni, and Friends,
As the need for nurses increases not only locally, but across the United States, the importance of preparing top students for careers in nursing is paramount. We have outstanding faculty who are preparing exceptional students both at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Efforts to increase student support through innovation are evident in our approach to the curriculum and to teaching methodologies. The introduction of scenarios and high fidelity manikins in the simulation center will transform the way that we teach clinical practice to students. Our future move to the new College of Health Sciences and School of Nursing building will give our students access to state-of-the-art learning facilities expected at a world-class university such as UTEP.
