A Message from the Dean
On behalf of the faculty and staff of the College of Liberal Arts, I want to welcome you to our website. For those of you unfamiliar with the College of Liberal Arts, we are the largest College on the UTEP campus currently serving over 6,300 students enrolled in academic programs offered by our twenty departments. Additionally, nearly 400 Liberal Arts faculty provide instruction to all UTEP undergraduates through our participation in the University Core Curriculum. Two of our programs, Psychology and Criminal Justice, are among the top five most popular majors on campus.
A Liberal Arts education lays the foundation for your career in any number of fields that have a direct impact on society. We train you to think analytically, holisitcally, and with a firm grasp on the history of the arts and human culture. Prepare yourself to make an impact on the world at UTEP.
