Applications are accepted throughout the year. However, we encourage you to apply early. By meeting the priority dates, you receive early consideration for admission and financial aid.

Application for admission

Apply online at www.applytexas.org. This electronic application is used by all Texas public universities. Once submitted, print the confirmation page for your records.

Use your Miner Insider to check the status of your admission application. Your Miner Insider username and password will be emailed to you once we receive your application or you can sign up now and begin exploring features of your Miner Insider.

2. Official High School TranscriptRead More

Official High School Transcript

Official transcripts must be sent directly from the schools attended. Please make sure that your school includes your diploma type, rank, and GPA.

If you attended a private/parochial high school or a high school outside of Texas, please have your school submit the Certification of Course Completion Equivalent to Recommended High School Program Form (RCCF form) along with your transcript. 

If you earned college credit while attending high school, submit official college transcripts.

3. Official Test ScoresRead More

Official Test Scores

Official SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test), ACT (American College Test), GED (Test of General Educational Development), and/or TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) scores must be sent to the Office of Admissions and Recruitment directly from the testing agency or must appear in your official high school transcript. To determine which scores you need to submit, visit Pathways to Admission.
