Research Agenda

The institute’s Center for Intelligence and Security Research (CISR) aims to foster student and faculty research in three distinctive areas:

First, CISR research will examine emerging security challenges and focus particularly on integrated cyber warfare capabilities, "next generation" terrorism, countering adversarial influence operations, and the prospect of new disruptive technologies.

Second, CISR will foster research involving social and behavioral science approaches to intelligence, particularly collection and analysis.

Third, CISR research will focus on applied intelligence history, collecting and analyzing data from current and historical declassified sources for the sole purpose of improving performance and correcting errors from the past.
