Department ChairAs Head of Administrative Services at the University Library, my job is to assure that all the library’s business functions run smoothly. I supervise the administrative office staff, oversee the budget, and am responsible for the inventory, purchasing, and many other administrative processes. Since earning a master’s degree in Library and Information Science, I have also assumed new duties, including instruction for education classes in how to use the library resources. Another job I have now is selecting books and other library materials to support academic programs in Education.

Current collecting is focused on acquiring new and peer reviewed research materials for undergraduate and graduate research. New journals (print and or online) and databases are acquired when possible.
