Fox Fine Arts Center, UTEPThe faculty, staff and students of the Department of Music look forward to seeing you at one of these upcoming performances. All events will take place in the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall unless otherwise noted. Events are subject to change. Please call (915) 747-5606 for confirmation.

Tickets prices for all events are $5 for general admission, $3 for students, military, and seniors, unless otherwise noted, and include a TicketMaster service charge. Events are free for UTEP students with a valid UTEP ID (Miner Gold Card). All times listed are for the Mountain time zone.

Parking Information:    
The new Sun Bowl Parking Garage is now open. When arriving for Department of Music events, please drive through the garage entrance on Sun Bowl Drive and look for Visitor Parking on the right side of Level One. Vehicles with any UTEP parking decal may be parked anywhere in the garage after 4:00 p.m. All others are invited to use Visitor Parking until 6:00 p.m. The garage is open to all after 6:00 p.m.

Hugh Cardon Memorial Concert

  • A concert in honor of the late Dr. Hugh Cardon, UTEP voice professor will be held Saturday, June 7 at 2:30 pm at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall.
  • Former students and colleagues will sing some of Dr. Cardon’s favorite art songs and arias from Mexico and Spain.
  • Music by composers such as Galindo, Ponce, Grever, Lara, Serrano, Sorozabal, and Torroba will be included.
  • Reception following in the Faculty Lounge.
  • Free admission.
